Awaken each morning in your elegant, open air cabana to the sound of the waves gently crashing, the sun rising, and the feel of a soft ocean breeze blowing by.

Next, head to the nearby Yoga Shala for an energizing yoga flow. The Shala features thatched roofs, handcrafted hardwood floors, and 360-degree views of lush mountain-scapes. Breathe in the fresh ocean air as you flow through an uplifting Vinyasa practice with options offered for all levels.

Afternoons are free for exploring, napping, surfing, journaling, playing, or relaxing. Enjoy three fresh and delicious meals each day – featuring organic, locally sourced ingredients. Take a dip in the cool Infinity Pool, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Lounge, nap, read, or journal. Take a walk to Haramara’s private beach and soak up the sunshine. THE ACCOMMODATIONS

Spread across the jungle hillside, and connected by a network of private trails, there are 18 unique individual casitas including a beautiful ample dorm, two yoga shalas, an oceanside wellness center, an open air dining room, a large comfortable terrace and saltwater infinity pool, and a private beach.

Native and untouched tropical vegetation surrounds and embraces each and every one of the structures. The spaces were carefully designed to subtly merge the internal and external environments, while meeting strict ecological standards with as little disturbance to the flora and fauna as possible.

The cabanas are designed to create a natural yet elegant space which offers comfort and coziness. Each cabana features architecturally original bathrooms open to the jungle, yet providing complete privacy.

The sleeping cabana experience is enhanced without electricity. Leave behind the tedious demands of our electronic age, and allow the jungle and ocean sounds to soothe your days and nights. You can always charge your devices in the Dining Area, or head into town to check your email and make necessary phone calls, but within the retreat you can choose to be entirely free of all technology as you reconnect with yourself. In the evenings the Cabanas are softly illuminated with oil lamps and candles, creating a magical and romantic ambiance.

Each cabana is secluded and private and has its own private bathroom with a shower, a flush toilet, hot and cold water and monogrammed towels. There are hand woven sheets on the bed and gauze curtains and drapes for added privacy.

Each cabana is designed to be open air with no windows or screens in order to allow in the gentle breezes from the Pacific Ocean. Some cabanas have private hammocks for lazy afternoon siestas. All have stunning ocean and/or jungle views.

THE DINING

Haramara's spacious open air dining room is hand-built of all natural materials with a soaring roof and handcrafted hardwood floors. Placed amongst the jungle canopy, the Dining Room is situated near the top of the property facing west, allowing you to enjoy the jungle and ocean view throughout the entire day. Eat breakfast listening to the birds, enjoy a quiet lunch at midday, and linger over dinner while watching the sunset.

Enjoy three delicious gourmet meals each day, tastefully prepared and artistically presented by some of the finest chefs in México. All ingredients are fresh, natural, local and organic. The daily menus are carefully chosen by Haramara's head chef and are based on the ingredients that are available that day in the fish and farmers markets.

With advance notice, special dietary requirements can be accommodated. Coffee and fresh squeezed juice is offered in the mornings. Tea, purified water, and fresh fruit water are available all day. Beer, wine and margaritas are available for purchase in the afternoons and at dinner.

THE SPA

In a secluded clearing down near the ocean is Larimar, Haramara's open air therapeutic wellness center. It is a quiet refuge in a one-of-a-kind setting where the rhythmic sound of the surf and the gentle breeze through the trees puts you back in touch with nature. Haramara's 12 highly trained massage therapists and spa technicians will help deliver beneficial gifts to your body and soul.

The wellness center offers sheer indulgence and exquisite pampering to compliment your stay with a wide selection of services. Take advantage of the variety of massage styles that offered – including traditional Japanese, deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, Shiatsu, therapeutic, Chi Nei Tsang, Thai and many more. Haramara also offers acupuncture, manicures, pedicures, body scrubs and facials.

* Please note that Spa Services are not included in the Retreat Fee but can be purchased separately throughout your stay.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK

1. There is no electricity in the cabanas.
This is a true yoga retreat, designed to help you fully disconnect and unwind. In the evenings, Cabanas are illuminated by the soft glow of candles and oil lamps. Please note that small appliances - blow dryers, curling irons, etc - will not be functional, and we suggest that you leave these items at home and embrace the opportunity to let your mind and body get back into rhythm with nature. Please bring a battery powered flashlight or headlamp for use outdoors, as there is no lighting. We also suggest bringing a battery operated book light if you wish to read at night. Electricity is available in the Yoga Pavilions for charging your phones.

2. You'll need a Passport, but you will not need a Visa.

3. You'll be flying into Puerto Vallarta (airport code PVR). We'll be sending along more information about booking your flights once you've reserved your spot, and will provide suggestions for which days / times to schedule your arrival and departure. We suggest that you do not book your flights until you've received this information.

4. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 70's during the day and upper 60's at night.

5. Terrain is somewhat rugged and short hikes up and down hills will be required to access the cabanas and yoga shalas. Bring sturdy shoes. Due to the nature of the terrain, this retreat is not recommended for persons with limited or impaired mobility.

6. You must be 17 years or older to participate.

7. Cell phone service is limited at the Retreat Center and internet access is not available on site. Again, this is an immersive experience designed to help you fully unplug! However, the town of Suyalita is a short walk away and you'll have plenty of breaks throughout the day to walk to town and make calls, check emails, etc.

THE YOGA

Begin and end each day with an all levels yoga practice in one of Haramara's open air Yoga Shalas. The yoga shalas are hand-built from all natural materials with high roofs and handcrafted hardwood floors. Both yoga shalas are positioned to take advantage of the panoramic and ever changing views of the lush mountains and vast ocean. Enjoy two practices daily (morning and night) surrounded by the sounds and sights of the local flora and fauna, the ocean breeze blowing by, and the rising and setting of the sun.

Mornings will feature an energizing Vinyasa flow, with options offered for all levels of practitioners. Each morning practice will end with a deeply rejuvenating Savasana, followed by a few words of inspiration and an optional journaling prompt for you to explore throughout the day. Complimentary journals will be provided, allowing you to reconnect with your inner light, and restore harmony to your mind and spirit.

Evening practices will offer a slow and meditative practice - including gentle, slow-flowing poses, yin, and restorative yoga, to calm your mind and bring ease to your entire being. Head back to your Casita once your evening practice is complete and drift into a restful sleep as you listen to the soft sound of the ocean.

Practices will be led by Julie, Bethany, and Morgan Wallace - owners of Bloom Yoga Fitness Studios. They are warm, dynamic, down-to-earth, and experienced instructors, with a passion for offering creative and accessible yoga flows.
