The classes at Bloom are tailored to support every body type, fitness level, and ability. We believe in the importance of not only nourishing the body – but the mind and the spirit – and our serene and spa-like facility and holistic approach to fitness will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. Most importantly we believe in YOU – in your goals, and in your personal needs – and we hope to help you Bloom into your very best self.

YOGA CLASSES
SLOW-PACED CLASSES (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

 

Gentle Flow:

Gentle Flow is an all levels class where students explore basic yoga postures and breathing techniques in a stress-free, non-competitive, and supportive environment. Participants will be led through a flowing sequence of seated, standing, and reclined postures. Movements are slow, yet deliberate, with an emphasis on stretching and relaxation. Stability and balance are facilitated through the use of support props.  Gentle Yoga is an invitation to relax, breathe, and let go.  This practice supports the immune system, offers comfort to muscles, joints, and bones, and enhances overall feelings of health and wellbeing. No prior experience is necessary and all practitioners are welcome.

Basics of Yoga Series:

Perfect for the complete yoga novice looking to get familiar with the basics in a welcoming atmosphere. Sessions will include discussion on yoga philosophy and benefits; instruction on yogic breathing and meditation techniques; and detailed guidance on basic yoga postures. Nearly 20 yoga postures will be explored in depth – including proper alignment, benefits, use of props, and ways to modify. This 5-week series will have you feeling like a yoga-pro in no time and will provide you with the confidence and knowledge to join our ongoing classes! The Basics of Yoga Series is recommended as a prerequisite to our regularly scheduled yoga classes.

 

Cost of the series is $89 and includes an exclusive Bloom Basics manual containing yoga pose pictures and detailed descriptions.

MODERATELY-PACED CLASSES (BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE)

 

Yoga Fusion:

Yoga Fusion blends the introspective nature of Yin Yoga, the strengthening benefits of a flow sequence, and the healing qualities of Restorative Yoga. The weaving of these various methods creates a unique experience that provides the practitioner with the best of 3 yogic styles. Each class includes 15 minutes of passive Yin Yoga, 40 minutes of active Flow Yoga, and concludes with 15 minutes of calming Restorative Yoga, including a supported savasana. This all levels class will allow practitioners to foster mental and physical healing, and bring the body and mind into balance.

 

Multi-Level Flow:

Multi-Level Flow is a vinyasa flow class that draws from many different yogic traditions and styles. This class moves at a moderate pace to build heat and promote strength, balance, and flexibility. Various options and modifications are offered, allowing the practitioner to move at their own pace and comfort level. This class welcomes yogis of many different backgrounds and abilities – offering the inspiration to grow your practice in a supportive environment. Some yoga experience is recommended.  

 

Vin and Yin Yoga (warm room):
Our Vin and Yin Yoga class is a rhythmic Vinyasa flow complemented by Yin yoga. Yin yoga features seated and reclined poses, which when held passively for 1-3 minutes, target the connective tissue of the hips pelvis, and lower spine. Classes will begin with a warming Vinyasa sequence of sun salutations and standing poses, and will end with a gentle yin sequence. This class is held in a “warm room” with temperatures between 76-78 degrees.

FAST-PACED CLASSES (INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED)

PowerFlow Level 1 (very warm room): 

Power Flow Level 1 Yoga is a moderate to fast-paced practice which draws from the Vinyasa tradition of flowing quickly from pose to pose while connecting breath with movement. This invigorating and dynamic class will tone your entire body while enhancing balance, core strength, and flexibility. Through a creative sequence of strength building yoga poses, practitioners will clear the mind, and detoxify their body with a cleansing sweat. The class is perfect for the athletic practitioner or for intermediate-advanced yogis looking to challenge their practice. Very warm room.

 

PowerFlow Level 2 (extra warm room): 

For students who are ready to take the next step in their practice, our heated Power Flow Level 2 class will exhilarate the body and mind through a Vinyasa style sequence. Emphasis will be on active and energetic movement, balance, and breathe awareness. Our Power Flow Level 2 class offers a faster pace along with a more challenging posture series, bringing students to a more advanced level. Previous yoga experience and knowledge of posture alignment is recommended. Extra warm room... Come prepared to sweat!

PRENATAL
& FAMILY PROGRAMS

 

 

Blooming Bellies:

A comprehensive Prenatal Yoga class to prepare women physically, mentally, and emotionally for the natural process of childbirth and motherhood. Classes increase strength, stamina, flexibility, as well as breath and body awareness while relieving the common discomforts often experienced during pregnancy. Each class concludes with 10 minutes of Yoga Nidra – a deeply transcendental form of relaxation with the potential to remove tensions and worries embedded deep in the mind concerning labor and delivery. Prenatal students should check with their physician before beginning this practice if they are experiencing any complications/concerns with their pregnancy. Blooming Bellies is a beautiful way to Bloom into motherhood.

CLASSES

 

 

MODERATELY-PACED CLASSES (All Levels Welcome)
Barre Strength:

Barre Strength is a unique combination of yoga, pilates, strength training, and ballet-barre technique. Classes begin with a muscle sculpting mat sequence which incorporates the use of strength building yoga postures and simple resistance training exercises to sculpt and define the upper body and core. This section is followed by a spot-toning barre sequence at the ballet barre to strengthen and define the thighs and glutes. Deep, full-body stretching is incorporated throughout the workout to encourage the development of long, lean muscles. Barre Strength is an upbeat, fun, and dynamic class that is suitable for all levels.

 

Barre Express:

The Barre Strength class that you know and love, packed into a time-friendly 45 minutes! Barre is a unique combination of yoga, pilates, strength training, and ballet-barre technique. Our Express class begins with a dynamic standing warm-up to build heat and get the heart pumping! Participants then move right to the ballet barres for a spot-toning sequence designed to strengthen and define the thighs, glutes, upper body, and core. Deep, full-body stretching is incorporated throughout the workout to encourage the development of long, lean muscles. Barre Express is a fun and upbeat class that is suitable for all levels.

Core & More:

Core & More is completely dedicated to sculpting and strengthening the lower half of the body – including the abdomen, back, hips, glutes, and legs. The class begins with a dynamic standing warm up designed to build heat and increase the heart rate. Participants are then lead through a blend of low impact cardio bursts, standing abdominal exercises, plank work, squat and lunge variations, and mat work designed to challenge and define the core and legs. Come prepared to sweat and have plenty of fun, all while building strength and definition in the core, legs, hips, and glutes.

MODERATE TO FAST-PACED CLASSES (Some Fitness Experience Recommended)

Bloom HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): 

Bloom HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is an intense, time-efficient form of interval training that conditions the whole body; creating strength, stamina and overall physical fitness. Classes begin with a heat-building warm-up, followed by rounds of timed intervals that alternate periods of intense exercise with lower-intensity recovery periods. This high-energy class offers a head-to-toe workout that will strengthen your entire body. Our trainers will always offer modifications according to participant’s ability, while encouraging clients to reach for their highest and best performance. Come prepared to sweat!

Kickbox Fusion:

With inspiration from aerobics, strength training, and Kickboxing techniques, Kickbox Fusion provides a powerful, full-body workout that will sculpt and tone every major muscle group. In this energetic class you will punch, hook, and kick your way through a fun and effective cardiovascular workout that will build agility, strength, and power, all while blasting away calories and providing a cleansing sweat. Through easy-to-follow Kickboxing movements, combined with low-impact cardio bursts and strength training techniques, you will tone the arms, legs, back, and abdominals. No experience is required - this  class is open to all-levels!

Yoga Sculpt with Weights:

Yoga Sculpt with Weights is an invigorating blend of weight training and yoga, designed to strengthen and tone every major muscle group. Small, 3 to 8 pound dumbbells are incorporated in this class as participants are led through a fluid sequence of resistance training, basic yoga poses, and powerful toning exercises. This intense, but easy-to-follow class will elevate your strength and flexibility to new heights, while tightening your upper body, core, glutes, and legs. Modifications will be offered for various levels. Some yoga experience is recommended. 

SUNRISE WARRIOR FITNESS CLASSES (High Intensity)

Start your day off like a warrior! Our Sunrise Warrior classes offer a higher intensity workout, packed into a time-efficient 45 Minutes. These early morning classes take our traditional fitness classes to the next level, by revving up the workout with a faster pace and higher intensity options. Bring your health and wellness goals to new heights in these fun and vibrant classes! While modifications will be offered for various levels – these classes are designed for the athletic client seeking a more vigorous workout. Come prepared to sweat! Our Sunrise Warrior Classes include:

Sunrise Warrior: Core

A high-intensity version of our Core class. Includes standing ab work, cardio bursts, plank work, and pilates based mat exercises. Get ready to feel the burn in your mid section and tone your entire core including the back, abdominals, hips, and glutes!

Sunrise Warrior: HIIT 

Our HIIT class gets taken to the next level in this interval based class. HIIT includes short bursts of high intensity exercise, alternated with low intensity recovery periods. This cardiovascular class will amp up your heart rate, and tone your entire body!

Sunrise Warrior: VinFit

Yoga for warriors! VinFit is an athletic class that blends fitness and yoga. Our sunrise warrior version, kicks things up a notch with a steady flow of classical Sun Salutations and Vinyasa sequences complimented by pushup variations, squats, core sequences, low-impact cardio bursts, and creative, strength-building movements.

Sunrise Warrior: Kickbox Fusion

A higher intensity version of our popular Kickbox Fusion class! In this energetic class you will punch, hook, and kick your way through a fun and effective cardiovascular workout that will build agility, strength, and power, and provide a cleansing sweat!
